From the 3 viewpoints : Eclusier-Vaux, Etinehem-Mericourt & Frise, there is a wonderful ans astonishing view on all the ponds, the canal and the river of the Somme. Viewpoint of Eclusier-Vaux

This viewpoint is the start for a beautiful hike. It shows you a wonderful panorama of the ponds and meanders of the Haute Vallée de la Somme. 

The eel trap in Eclusier-Vaux has been restored to ensure a scientific monitoring of the eel because it is a typical species of our rivers and it has to be preserved.


Viewpoint of Frise

This is a stunning viewpoint of the Somme which combines Nature and History.

On the hill, there are traces of trenches in which the writer Blaise Cendrars fought during the Great War. 

This place is also a paradise for the goats and sheep of our local breeders.

It is also the ideal place to hike!


Viewpoint Etinehem-Méricourt

This viewpoint is ideal to have a look at the marshes of Etinehem and Méricourt-sur-Somme.
